About the event

Inspired by Kenneth Grahame’s ‘The Wind in the Willows’,  join Science Oxford for some scientific storytelling as we mess about with boats!

We’ll set the scene with an extract from the book, before you and your child get creative by building and testing a floating raft.  Looking at floating and sinking, properties of shape and materials, there’ll be plenty for you and your little engineers to learn in this fun and interactive workshop for ages 3-6 and their families.
